Hotels.com Program Change
Hotels.com has announced a program change effective Friday July 19th.
Hotels.com will no longer be offering digital gift cards. However, ShoppingBoss has engaged with Hotels.com to continue offering cash back on all hotel room reservations booked through the Hotels.com website.
For those members who would like to continue receiving cash benefits on all Hotels.com bookings, simply search for Hotels.com on the ShoppingBoss app or site and we’ll connect you directly to the Hotels.com website. Then, just book your reservation as normal.
Once the reservation is booked, and we are notified by Hotels.com, the appropriate cash will appear in your account as "pending cash." After your stay, Hotels.com will report to us the completion of your reservation. “Pending cash” will be moved to “available cash” and can then be used at your discretion.
Here are the details of the new program:
3% cash back on all bookings through ShoppingBoss.
Unlimited bookings will now be supported and paid.
Bookings will no longer need to be pre-paid (gift card purchases required the rooms to be paid at booking). This is a very attractive upgrade for those who need the flexibility to change/cancel reservations.
All bookings are eligible for Hotels.com reward program benefits.
Now you can take advantage of credit cards providing travel bonuses by using them to book reservations on Hotels.com.
